Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and report on cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
Handle VAT returns, ensure compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) regulations, and assist with audits.
Maintain general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and local UAE financial regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
UAE VAT regulations
and
FTA filings
.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g.,
Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems
).
Familiarity with
IFRS
and
UAE labor laws
related to payroll and gratuity.
