SUMMARY: As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for helping achieve continuous delivery/continuous development and optimization of our cloud environments; you will have a scripting background in Python, containerization with Kubernetes, hands-on with OpenStack Platform, and experience writing optimized playbooks. You can function independently and enjoy cross-team collaboration Solutions Architects and Cloud SMEs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is: Experienced in cloud-based tech with a firm grasp of DevOps technologies and developing automated solutions; capable to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient; leveraging advanced knowledge to mentor less experienced team members, and a desire to stay current with new technology solutions. Detailed job description, responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation, testing and lifecycle development of FCAPS components.

• Maintain and build scripts to manage cloud infrastructure and server instances.

• Develop testing and implementation plans for projects with multiple moving parts.

• Communication and cooperation with 3rd parties/ vendors.

• Participate in solving and eliminating ops escalations.

• Define and document best practices regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

• Collaborate with Release Manager and SME teams towards making improvements in the package release development and QA standards.

• Maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company's products and services.

• Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.

• Consistently provide high quality work in a deadline driven environment.

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Industry certifications preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in distributed systems or cloud computing.

• 3 years' experience with cloud infrastructure technologies (OpenStack, and OpenShift)

• Hands-on development experience with Continuous delivery tools (GIT, Jenkins, and Ansible)

• Proven ability to provide automation solutions using Bash, Python, and JSON.

• Hands on Experience on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHCE)

• Hands on experience deploying and operating monitoring and data visualization solutions; at least two (Prometheus, Zabbix, fluentd, Grafana and Kibana).

• Good understanding of ETSI NFV architecture, building blocks and functionalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills that include developed written and oral communication skills.

• Effective collaboration techniques and the ability to problem solve within a team and cross-functionally.
