F&B Supervisor
Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Ras Al Khaimah
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: F&B Manager / Outlet Manager
Job Summary:
As an F&B Supervisor at Hilton Garden Inn, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Food & Beverage outlets (e.g., restaurant, bar, poolside, in-room dining). You will lead the service team to deliver the highest standards of guest service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable and positive dining experience consistent with Hilton's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

  • Supervise all aspects of the F&B outlet operations during your shift.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed correctly.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with hotel and HACCP policies.
  • Manage table reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the waitstaff, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, promotions, and service priorities.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members on service standards, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
  • Assist in the scheduling of F&B colleagues based on business forecasts.
Guest Service:
  • Greet guests, build rapport, and ensure their satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Proactively handle guest complaints and inquiries, resolving them promptly and effectively to ensure a positive resolution.
  • Circulate through the outlet, engaging with guests to solicit feedback and ensure a high level of service.
Financial & Administrative:
  • Monitor and control inventory levels for operating equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in controlling costs without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the correct billing process, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure all financial procedures are adhered to.
  • Complete shift reports and logbooks, reporting any incidents or maintenance issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an F&B service role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment, preferably with an international brand like Hilton.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of food, beverages, and service techniques.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
