Reporting to : Branch ManagerSpecific Roles and Responsibilities
Managing restaurant staff's work schedules
Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
Monitoring the restaurants cash flow and settling outstanding bills
Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
Oversee all front and back of the house restaurant operations
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Receive complaints and resolve problems
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Ensure that all checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff.
Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
Ensure staffing levels for all outlets are accurate based Event and business needs.
To carry out all the roles and responsibilities of the junior level as and when required.
Pre-requisites
Graduate in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or Hotel Management
3-5 years of minimum experience in a restaurant or related industry
Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role within a restaurant or hotel
Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, Wiring)
