We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused F&B Supervisor to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of service in our food and beverage outlets.
Oversee daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring excellent customer experiences
Collaborate with the F&B Operations Manager and Assistant F&B Manager on administrative tasks and operational improvements
Attend and actively participate in daily F&B briefings and other required meetings
Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for various F&B-related gatherings
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Department to develop compelling marketing content for F&B initiatives
Supervise the production and quality control of menus and food tags for restaurant, bar, and banquet events
Draft and disseminate professional memorandums for the F&B Department
Respond promptly to inquiries from internal departments and external customers
Maintain a vigilant presence during peak service hours, providing critical support to F&B outlets and service teams
Report any irregularities or discrepancies to the F&B Operations Manager immediately
Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and foster positive working relationships within the department
Coordinate with supporting departments to maintain the appearance and condition of all hotel areas
Propose and implement procedural improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
Present well-researched suggestions to management regarding operations, cost control, and profitability
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar F&B supervisory role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and adapt to changing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Collaborative approach to working with various departments and stakeholders
Organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
