Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

F&B Purchase & Procurement and Cost Controller

to oversee purchasing activities and control costs across our food and beverage operations. This dual-role position is critical in maintaining profitability through efficient procurement practices and accurate cost control. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of F&B supply chains, and hands-on experience in inventory and cost management within the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchasing

Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality products at the best possible prices. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of food, beverages, and related materials. Maintain and update approved supplier lists and product catalogs. Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all purchases.

Cost Control

Analyze and control food and beverage costs to ensure budget compliance. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date cost sheets and recipe costing for all F&B items. Monitor wastage, portion control, and operational efficiencies to reduce costs. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare detailed cost reports for management and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in F&B purchasing and/or cost control, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and cost analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards, and industry best practices.
