JOB PURPOSE
The F&B Marketing Specialist is responsible for engaging in marketing initiatives and campaigns, aiming to promote brand visibility to consumers throughout the region in line with provided brand guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the establishment and execution of marketing strategies, along with the creation of activities and visual materials to support the marketing plan. The objective is to optimize consumer brand awareness and generate revenue, in close coordination with pertinent with relevant stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with key media partners, stores, and external stakeholders to capitalize on marketing and advertising opportunities, ensuring the attainment of a high level of service.
- Guarantee that all marketing campaigns and promotions strictly adhere to the marketing plans and specifications set by brand owners, ensuring consistent regional and global standardization of the brand image.
- Manage the production of all marketing collaterals (Brochures and catalogues, POS, digital assets, environmental branding, packaging, etc.) to ensure brand guideline compliancy and delivery to brief and budget.
- Liaises with all franchises and outer market managers to design and distribution of the marketing collaterals and ensure full compliancy to brand standards.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key media to maximize all editorial opportunities.
- Liaise with all mall marketing and PR contacts to ensure monthly coverage using brand content as a minimum.
- Manage all photo assets - from archiving existing images to managing new shoots, both internal and third party. Prepare the brief and art direction for the photoshoot.
- Remain updated on data with market trends, online developments, and competitors' activities across various channels, to ensure that campaigns remain relevant in each market and meet defined levels of brand revenue and profitability.
- Remain informed about best practices in marketing techniques and tools to achieve successful campaigns and promotions, generating brand revenue, ensuring profitability, and increasing market share.
- Regularly review sales reports to evaluate the commercial success of marketing plans and campaigns in terms of brand revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Control planning, execution, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, and paid advertising.
- Manage the timely handling of the media and influencer gifting process including sourcing, costing, handling and delivery.
- Manage the LPO and invoicing process, ensuring all budgeting files are kept up to date - from initial request to final reporting.
Qualifications
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Proficiency in English.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in graphic design programs (i.e., Adobe, Canva).
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
Specific Skills
- Basic knowledge of social media and digital marketing activities.
- Food photography and styling experience is a plus.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years of experience in Marketing, or a similar role.
Experience in the F&B industry is a plus.
