F&B Manager (Food & Beverage Manager)
Overview:
An F&B Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a restaurant, bar, hotel dining outlet, or other food service establishment. They manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, control costs, and drive profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all F&B staff (servers, bartenders, hosts, kitchen porters).
• Develop and manage budgets, payroll, and financial plans; analyze P&L statements.
• Create and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and order food, beverages, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Develop menus and pricing in collaboration with chefs and the kitchen team.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the establishment and organize events.
• Schedule staff shifts to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as an F&B Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent business acumen and financial management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food service principles and practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field is preferred.
