Job Description

The Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She is responsible for managing seating arrangements and guest inquiries while ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dining area. The role demands excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in line with TWG Tea brand standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Welcome and greet guests in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. Coordinate seating plans with the service team to maximize table turnover without compromising guest experience. Liaise with the service and kitchen teams regarding guest flow and special arrangements. Adhere to company grooming and hygiene standards. Assist with daily opening and closing duties of the restaurant. Maintain a tidy, organized reception and entrance area at all times. Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated. Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and outlet information to confidently answer guest queries. Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and efficiently, escalating to the Manager when necessary. Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalized service at all times.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hostess or Guest Relations Officer in a high-end F&B or hospitality environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (Arabic or Russian language is an advantage). Presentable, confident, and well-groomed appearance. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
