JOB PURPOSE
The F&B Field Operations Manager is responsible for executing the strategic direction given by the Senior F&B Brand Manager to achieve sustainable value creation for the brand in the assigned area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a comprehensive network of external contacts and conduct thorough market and competition analysis to stay updated on market activities and competitors.
- Coordinate and supervise the execution of brand-related events, promotions, and special marketing activities within the designated area.
- Assist the procurement departments in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for both food and non-food items, including crockery, utensils, and disposables, in alignment with the brand and overall procurement strategy. Prepare and approve orders for designated markets.
- Provide ongoing support for maintenance and loss prevention issues, coordinating closely with relevant departments to ensure effective resolution.
- Regularly compile and submit comprehensive financial and non-financial brand performance reports specific to assigned markets to brand managers.
- Implement and monitor adherence to brand and corporate policies, procedures, standards, and operational initiatives within the designated area.
- Actively oversee the expansion of various sales channels such as catering, delivery, e-commerce, mobile food concepts, and more in the designated area.
- Assist brand managers in developing and launching new menus, including cost analysis, price evaluation, recipe validation, and ensuring product availability. Coordinate menu launch activities across various departments.
- Monitor and optimize the daily performance of stores in the assigned area, emphasizing financial KPIs such as sales, expenses, profitability, alongside F&B KPIs including customer service and food quality management.
- Study proposed new locations for brand development, prepare sales forecasts, and assist in comprehensive data analysis.
- Prepare action plans for the opening of new locations, support with ordering utensils and equipment, and follow up with the ABS team, local teams, and suppliers.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
Qualifications
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Specific Expertise
- Strong knowledge in financial, accounting systems and procedures.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
HACCP certification is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
General Experience
Seven to nine years of experience in F&B Operations, or a similar role.
Managerial Experience
Four years of experience in a managerial role.
