OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Assist to maintain a smooth operation and the highest office efficiency in the Food and Beverage & Culinary administration office at all times and support and assist the Director of Food and Beverage & Executive Chef.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work in concert with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure back-of-the-house needs are being met.
  • Keep all administrative records and files in good order for Food and Beverage / Culinary division.
  • Ensure to update and maintain the standard operating procedure and job profiles of the department.
  • Assists with drafting reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and as necessary.
  • To conduct daily walkthroughs of restaurants and kitchen and compile all engineering and housekeeping report for follow ups.
  • Open all incoming correspondence and take appropriate action.
  • Attend Food and Beverage / Culinary meeting, prepare minutes and distribute them within 48 hours.
  • Successfully follow up on any projects or promotions as assigned by Director of Food and Beverage / Exe Chef
  • Promote good communications with other departments so as to ensure highest level of office productivity.
  • To assure the knowledge of both brand and LQA standards and comply with the same.
  • To continuously support direct supervisor assuring service complies with Brand and LQA standards.
  • Take ownership to represent the brand by applying brands standards at every occasion.
  • To ensure all H&S standards are maintained in the division and the training records are documented.
  • To manage the FB / Culinary Go Audits portal.
  • Assists with new employee onboarding and ensures related paperwork is sent to T&C in a timely manner.
  • Prepares training and induction plan for new management joiner to ensure smooth entry within the department. Documentation and agenda not training.
  • Responsible for handling all F&B and Culinary Oasys related matters.
  • To ensure all restaurants and bars menu are up to date and reflect the same on the RW web page.
  • Assists with maintenance of Birchstreet ordering systems.
  • Assist in monthly physical count of kitchen inventory.
  • Perform any additional duties requested by Director of Food and Beverage or Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: Minimum two years\' experience as a Admin position at a 5 star hotel.
  • Education: High school diploma
  • Technical Skills: Windows, Mac and other Hotel operating software\'s
  • Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
