Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Designs and assists with the production of clothing and accessories, identifies trends, and selects styles, fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for a collection. Designs haute couture or ready-to-wear clothing.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage design process from conception through to final styling.

2. Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.

3. Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.

4. Ensure product agrees with business strategy.

5. Select fabrics and trims.

6. Create production sketches for development packages.

7. Collaborate with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.

8. Review product for style and fit during presentation.

9. Present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.

3. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in design or fine arts, or college degree in fashion design or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years in a similar role

Skills and Competencies :

Ability to do sketches by hand. Excellent design and conceptual skills. Excellent sense of style and color. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to meet multiple deadlines Usage of Adobe software (Advance) for Design creation.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
