Role Summary:

We are hiring a

creative, detail-driven, and technically skilled Fashion Designer

to join our in-house team. This role is ideal for someone who combines artistic flair with technical expertise -- from hand sketching to tech pack creation. You'll be working across seasonal collections, client custom pieces, and in-house development for partner brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and design luxury womenswear collections (dresses, jumpsuits, abayas, jackets, and sets) aligned with OVO's design direction. Create original design sketches by hand and digitize them using Adobe Illustrator. Prepare detailed

tech packs

for production including measurements, construction details, fabric suggestions, and finishings. Select fabrics, trims, and accessories in line with design vision and production needs. Collaborate closely with sample makers, tailors, and the production manager to ensure timely and flawless execution. Adjust designs based on fitting feedback and refine silhouettes when needed. Contribute to the creative process for campaigns, lookbooks, and digital content by providing design direction. Conduct trend, silhouette, and material research relevant to luxury regional and international markets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 3-5 years experience in high-end, luxury, or semi-couture fashion.

Excellent manual sketching and digital illustration skills using pen and Adobe Illustrator (a must).

Proficient in preparing full

production-ready tech packs

. Strong understanding of fabric types, textures, draping, weight, and seasonal suitability. Familiar with garment construction, luxury finishing techniques, and fit development. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with strict timelines. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Preferred):

Experience in the GCC luxury fashion market. Knowledge of sustainable design or fabric sourcing. Ability to speak or understand Arabic. Familiarity with 3D fashion tools like CLO3D or Adobe Substance (a plus).
