This role requires
research, development, and original design
of collections that reflect what's current in the market -- while staying true to the identity of Nineteen Ninety Two. You must be up to date with international fashion houses, emerging labels, and social media fashion culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and design
collections that reflect global fashion trends
, market demands, and seasonal shifts.
Develop
concept boards, moodboards, sketches, tech packs
, and final artwork for production.
Work closely with production, sampling, and merchandising teams to bring concepts to life.
Stay fully up to date with
streetwear trends, high fashion, emerging designers, and digital fashion
.
Source fabrics, trims, and materials in line with brand DNA and quality standards.
Contribute to fit sessions and adjust designs based on wearability, sizing, and market feedback.
Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure cohesion between collection themes and campaigns.
Attend trade shows, fashion events, and market visits to ensure continuous trend exposure.
Requirements:
Minimum
3 years of experience in fashion design
, preferably within streetwear, luxury casualwear, or contemporary fashion.
Proven design portfolio that reflects
modern, trend-relevant, and innovative styles
.
Proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
, and fashion tech-pack creation.
Strong understanding of
fabric construction, garment finishing, and production timelines
.
Excellent taste, intuition, and fashion awareness -- must be trend-forward and culturally plugged in.
Ability to work under deadlines and execute vision from concept to sample stage.
Preferred:
Experience with
Middle Eastern or GCC fashion markets
.
Knowledge of fashion history, Gen-Z consumer behavior, and social media fashion cycles.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: AED50.00 - AED200.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
