Job Title: Fashion Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating original clothing, accessories, and footwear designs that align with current trends and brand identity. You will take concepts from sketches to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams including pattern makers, textile experts, and marketers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design seasonal collections, including sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings. Select fabrics, colors, and patterns that align with the brand vision. Oversee the development of prototypes and work with pattern makers to ensure design accuracy. Research fashion trends, market demands, and competitor products. Attend fittings and make necessary adjustments to samples. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and within budget. Present final designs to creative directors or clients for approval. Stay up to date with emerging fashion trends and technologies.
Requirements:
Degree in Fashion Design or related field. Proven experience as a fashion designer or in a relevant role. Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D). Strong sense of style, color, and textile knowledge. Excellent drawing, sewing, and pattern-making skills. Strong communication and time management abilities. A portfolio of previous work is required.
