Job Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible to manage and execute the procurement of personal, lifestyle, luxury, and household items and services for the principal family and their private estate. This role ensures the timely sourcing of premium products, customized services, travel arrangements, gifting, wardrobe items, and day-to-day necessities with full discretion, efficiency, and a high standard of service. The Procurement Specialist for Family acts as a trusted liaison between family preferences and vendor capabilities, ensuring quality, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Luxury Brand Management, Hospitality, or related field. Certification in Procurement & Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS) is preferred. Courses or exposure in luxury retail, hospitality, or private household operations is an advantage. Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory). 4-6 years of experience in procurement, personal shopping, or concierge services, preferably in a luxury household, royal family estate, hospitality, or VIP client services role in the UAE or GCC. Proven experience sourcing high-end personal items: fashion, accessories, custom gifts, wellness items, beauty/skincare, etc. Familiarity with household goods, gourmet grocery items, custom furnishings, event arrangements, and premium services (spa, wellness, dining, etc.).

JOB SKILLS



Luxury & Lifestyle Procurement



Knowledge of global and local luxury markets, high-end boutiques, and premium service providers. Familiarity with family preferences, seasonal items, gifting trends, and bespoke sourcing. Ability to source limited edition or hard-to-find items quickly and discreetly.

Household & Daily Needs Procurement



Managing procurement for personal care, family travel items, children's supplies, tech gadgets, stationery, and daily essentials. Creating procurement plans aligned with household calendars, guest arrivals, or travel schedules.

Vendor Sourcing & Relationship Management



Building a network of trusted suppliers, personal shoppers, boutique stores, and service providers. Negotiating for best value, express delivery, and quality assurance.

Discretion & Confidentiality



High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness when handling sensitive family needs. Understanding of privacy protocols, NDA compliance, and respectful vendor management.

Coordination & Communication



Liaising with household staff, chauffeurs, personal assistants, and family office teams. Strong communication skills to understand nuanced requests and deliver results efficiently.

Systems & Documentation



Proficient in MS Office and basic procurement/ERP platforms Ability to manage receipts, warranties, delivery schedules, and track costs against monthly budgets.

Time & Task Management



Able to prioritize and act swiftly on urgent or last-minute family requests. Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
