The key objective of the e-commerce manager EAMEA will be to support Fairmont properties across the region for digital marketing and e-commerce activities. Reporting to the E-commerce Director EAMEA, he or she will be actively involved in conducting hotel audits and working towards maximizing direct and indirect online performance. He or she will be fully responsible to drive Web direct & Web indirect performance across all the hotels in Europe, Africa, Middle east & Asia.
Main accountabilities:
Act as Hotel Digital Advisor and provide strategic and tactical recommendations to enhance properties content and online performance across channels
Conduct audits of all hotels\xe2\x80\x99 content, digital performance and tools engagement and usage
Support hotels in planning and execution of digital marketing activities including but not limited to SEO/SEA, emailing, social media, display and programmatic, metasearch
Manage, proofread and optimize online content on direct and indirect websites
Support hotels with CMS updates and trainings
Audit existing Hotel listings and coordinate new listings creation (Google My Business, TripAdvisor\xe2\x80\xa6)
Review and audit hotels newsletters, databases and data collection process for Rooms and Outlets
Design and develop e-commerce user guides for hotels
Monthly reporting of hotels content scores, social media KPIs, website performance, and assess against targets
Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Marketing, PR and Revenue
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Monitor and assist in ensuring Rate parity together with the Revenue team throughout all distribution channels
Assist the Acquisition, CRM, Social Media HQ teams in the rollout of digital tools
Coordinate and assist with new opening hotels
Provide creative ideas and best practices for content marketing and social media
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in E-Commerce and Digital Marketing in Hospitality, Tourism or Retail
A degree in Hospitality Management or Marketing and Communications
3.Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
Excellent English, both verbal and written. French is a plus
Analytical thinker
Energetic and passionate
Proficient with Digital platforms and tools.
SEA/Display & META knowledge
Experience in content writing and SEO.
Understanding of online marketing channels and trends.
Excellent organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Expertise in luxury-focused social media.
Familiarity with travel, hospitality, lifestyle, and luxury sectors.
