Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Factory Production Supervisor to join our Aluminum and Glass Division. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the aluminum and glass fabrication workshop, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aluminum and glass fabrication, particularly with sliding doors, bifold doors, and curtain walls, and a proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce shop drawings are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Fabrication Process:

Oversee tasks such as cutting, assembling, and installing aluminum and glass components, supervising a team of professionals including fabricators, installers, and support staff.

Specialized Fabrication:

Ensure expertise in the production and installation of sliding doors, bifold doors, and curtain walls.

Production Scheduling:

Plan and prioritize work orders to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Workflow Monitoring:

Allocate resources and adjust schedules to meet project deadlines and production targets.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.

Quality Control:

Monitor the quality of workmanship and provide feedback and training to team members as needed.

Issue Resolution:

Troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the fabrication process.

Equipment Maintenance:

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.

Reporting:

Prepare reports on production activities, including work-in-progress, completed projects, and any issues or challenges encountered.

Team Environment:

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Material Management:

Manage the procurement of materials, factory consumables, and related supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment to support production operations.

AutoCAD Proficiency:

Use AutoCAD to create accurate shop drawings for various projects.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of 6 years of experience in aluminum and glass fabrication or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in a supervisory capacity. Specific experience with sliding doors, bifold doors, and curtain walls is essential.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass fabrication techniques, including cutting, assembling, and installing.

Leadership Skills:

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and creating shop drawings using AutoCAD.

Safety Awareness:

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Pressure Handling:

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Experience:
