We are looking for an experienced and organized Factory Manager to oversee the production operations of our interior fit-out factory. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage workforce, materials, and schedules to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily factory operations for joinery, carpentry, and fit-out production.
Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with designers, project managers, procurement, and site teams for smooth workflow.
Allocate tasks to carpenters, painters, machinists, and helpers; monitor progress and resolve issues.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines, tools, and materials.
Maintain safety, quality control, and cost-effective production processes.
Monitor inventory of raw materials and request replenishment as needed.
Conduct quality checks before delivery to site or client.
Ensure all items meet design specifications and company standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience (15 years) in managing a interior fit-out production facility.
Strong technical knowledge of carpentry, Exhibition stands, materials, and fabrication processes.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in workshop/factory environments.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience with CNC machines and automated woodworking equipment.
UAE/GCC experience in joinery, fit-out, or furniture manufacturing.
Valid UAE driving license.
