Job Summary:

Polymer Contracting LLC is looking for a highly qualified and experienced

Factory Manager

to oversee operations at our

interior fit-out and joinery production facility

. The successful candidate must hold a

Bachelor's degree

and bring

at least 10 years of industry experience

, with a proven track record in managing production, quality, and team performance within the

interior design, carpentry, or furniture manufacturing

sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all factory operations related to

interior fit-out and joinery

works. Supervise production teams including carpenters, machine operators, finishers, and helpers. Plan and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to design specifications. Ensure high standards of

quality control

across all products - including woodwork, furniture, wall cladding, counters, and other bespoke interior elements. Interpret and implement shop drawings and technical plans from design and engineering teams. Allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet production targets. Maintain and manage all factory equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, material usage, and waste reduction. Ensure all

health, safety, and environmental

regulations are strictly followed. Manage stock levels of raw materials and consumables, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment. Generate regular reports on production performance, labor utilization, and machinery efficiency for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Interior Architecture, or related technical field (mandatory). Minimum

10 years of experience

in a factory management role within the

interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing

industry. Strong knowledge of

woodworking processes

,

custom furniture fabrication

, and

fit-out components

. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting

shop drawings

, CAD files, and production documents. Hands-on experience with

CNC machines, edge banding machines, panel saws, and joinery equipment

. Familiarity with

lean manufacturing

,

quality control systems

, and

ERP software

. Fluent in English and Hindi (Arabic is an added advantage). UAE/GCC experience preferred.
