Position Summary

The Factory Manager will oversee daily production and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. He will be responsible for managing all aspects of factory operations, including production planning, staff supervision, quality control, and safety compliance. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and technical expertise in food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily factory operations to ensure efficient production of bakery and sweets products. Lead, train, and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and downtime. Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations (local and international). Maintain and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols across all areas of the factory. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products to optimize supply chain efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity. Prepare operational reports and present progress to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably bakery and confectionery. Proven track record in managing factory operations and leading large teams. Strong knowledge of production processes, food safety standards, and quality control systems. Safety certification preferred: HAZOP, HACCP, or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing production demands. Strong leadership with a focus on staff development and continuous improvement.
