Looking for Workshop InCharge/ supervisor at joinery workshop in Abu Dhabi, must have more than 5+ years\' experience and must be able to understand full drawings and material details and can handle a team of 35-60 staff and must have good knowledge of joinery machines as well. good salary + staff accommodation + insurance + free visa + return tkt every two years will be offered to right candidate, Job responsibilities:
- Experience in Interior Design is a must.
- Thoroughly check all the pieces while in production and before delivery.
- Effectively communicate tasks and requirements to an assigned team of joiners. Monitoring workload and providing solutions to ensure targets are met any risks are mitigated.
- Manage the quality outputs of all joiners, offering feedback where required and continually encouraging improvements.
- Ensure that management is informed of joinery workload and progress against targets, escalate issues and support the implementation of solutions where required.
- Attend meetings representing the joinery team, presenting updates and support collaborative working across the business.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to health and safety
- Implement and maintain a housekeeping programme to ensure that the team are working in an efficient, tidy and safe environment at all times.
- Monitor employees\xe2\x80\x99 performance. Coach and mentor members of the team offering regular feedback to employees on performance to management as required.
- Ensure that health and safety checks are completed and all the health & safety paperwork relating to the department is kept up to date.
- Lead on all Health and Safety matters for all allocated employees while on-site, ensuring personnel are issued with and wear the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment.
- Contribute to the effective management of Health and Safety by promoting and maintaining legislative requirements throughout the nominated site.
- Complete any tasks as directed.
- Take site measurements for production according to the project programmer and site condition.
- Follow up for preparation and approval on: pre-qualification documents, quality and Safety documents, materials, drawings, mock up.
- Monitoring daily site installation progress, quality and protection of material at site.
- Follow up for the payment collection by co-coordinating with accounts dept.
- Ensure QA and QC at site and all activities carried out at site are in accordance with the safety norms laid down.
- Experience in Fit Out Installation, wood, Closets, Kitchen, Furniture, Joinery.
- Visiting Clients, Sites to take measurement and Day to Day work and Reporting.
- Good ability to understand and interpret project.
- Able to handle team and get work done.
- Able to Meet Project Deadlines as per Client Request
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
