Job Brief:

As a Factory Draftsman/Draftswoman, you will play a pivotal role in transforming conceptual furniture designs into detailed, production-ready drawings. Your expertise in furniture and joinery detailing, coupled with your proficiency in 2D and 3D software, will contribute significantly to the successful execution of our furniture projects.

Job Responsibilities:

- Drafting and Detailing: Create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings of furniture and joinery components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.

- Material Selection: Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each project.

- Production Support: Work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are accurately translated into finished products, providing clarifications and adjustments as needed.

- Quality Control: Review and validate the quality of produced furniture pieces against design specifications to ensure consistency and excellence.

- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project-related files.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design-related issues or challenges that may arise during the production process.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field such as interior design, furniture design, or engineering.

- Minimum of 2 years of UAE-based experience in a similar role within the furniture industry.

- Proficiency in 2D and 3D software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge and familiarity with furniture and joinery detailing.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information effectively.

- Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to furniture manufacturing (preferred).
