Facility Coordinator DutiesThe duties of the Facility Coordinator will include but are not limited to:
Act as a liaison with Qatar Foundation (QF) HSSE during building emergencies to include but not be limited to: building evacuations, sheltering in place, medical emergencies, chemical releases or spills, fire or other threats, real or perceived, that could develop during the day and after hours.
Act as a first responder and building proctor for safety and security incidents in the building and assume responsibility until the appropriate authorities arrive, including the ability to provide suitable first aid consistent with certification and training.
Liaise with Qatar Foundation Security personnel assigned to the Texas A&M at Qatar buildings and assist where needed in areas to include, but not limited to: general building, lab, office, classroom access, contractor access and monitoring, equipment removal or delivery.
Enforce all Qatar Foundation and Texas A&M at Qatar security policies and procedures and report any violations of these policies.
Assist the Office of Building Operations (OBO) staff in the set up and monitoring of events after hours.
Assist OBO staff in the investigation of complaints regarding safety and security issues within the Texas A&M at Qatar buildings and operations.
Monitor facilities for safety and security hazards, submitting maintenance requests when observed.
Follow up on facilities maintenance requests as directed by OBO staff.
Participate in the development and implementation of the Texas A&M at Qatar Security Guard Training Program.
Participate in emergency response drills and exercises.
Participate in the activation of all Texas A&M at Qatar safety, security and crisis management plans.
If required, perform duties outside Texas A&M at Qatar building such us graduations and other University events.
Other duties as needed.
Facility Coordinator QualificationsThe qualifications of the Facility Coordinator will include but are not limited to:
Facility Coordinators must be able to be vetted in accordance with U.S. Export Control laws. Texas A&M at Qatar will vet all candidates prior to assignment.
Facility Coordinators must have certification in Basic First Aid and AED by a State of Qatar recognized training vendor. Texas A&M at Qatar will provide recertification as needed.
Facility Coordinators must be trained and certified as a Security Guard as required by the current laws of the State of Qatar. The Vendor will provide recertification as needed.
Facility Coordinator must be able to speak and write English
Facility Coordinator must have intermediate computer skills to include the use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Facility Coordinators must have completed the following courses prior to performing service under the Agreement:
1. Working Safely (IOSH)2. Managing safely (IOSH) is an added advantage.3. Accident Investigations4. Basic Emergency Response Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Ability to commute/relocate:
Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
