Role Summary:
The Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) will focus on the mechanical systems within the facility, primarily HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. This role requires a deep technical understanding and hands-on approach to system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems, especially HVAC (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps), water systems, and drainage.
• Perform diagnostic tests and analysis on mechanical equipment to identify faults and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs and parts.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with OEM specifications and HSE guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Support energy management initiatives to optimize mechanical system performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of specific experience in maintaining mechanical building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
• Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proactive, resourceful, and a strong team player.
