Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Facade Technical Engineer

to support the design, engineering, and execution of building envelope systems. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and fabricators to ensure technical excellence and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and manage

technical submittals

for all facade-related materials, systems, and components in accordance with project specifications and consultant requirements. Coordinate and participate in

detailed technical discussions

with architects, facade consultants, main contractors, and suppliers to finalize

materials, finishes, and construction details

. Evaluate and ensure the

completeness and accuracy of facade shop drawings

, fabrication drawings, and installation details in line with design intent, structural constraints, and site conditions. Analyze and verify

material data sheets, certifications, test reports, warranties

, and performance criteria to support submittal approvals. Lead or support

material sample reviews

and ensure alignment with aesthetic and technical project requirements; document outcomes and approval status. Review and comment on

3D models, facade interface details

, and system junctions to ensure constructibility, weather-tightness, and system performance. Participate in

coordination meetings

to resolve facade detail conflicts across disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP, architectural). Maintain a clear and up-to-date

submittal and drawing tracking log

, following up on pending approvals and resubmissions. Assist in the preparation of

mock-up packages

, attend inspections, and ensure that approved materials and details are reflected in full-size mock-ups and site installations. Provide technical support during procurement and execution to ensure that

materials and details approved during the submittal process

are procured and installed correctly on-site.
