This position requires minimum having ITI or diploma. Skilled and experience in Fabrication of piping and structures, custom made items as per drawing having minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Structure & pipe fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, welding etc. Experience shall be both in workshop and onsite is preferable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that companies and clients Quality, Health, Safety & Environment policies & procedures are strictly followed in each and every job.
Do both Structure & pipe fabrication of different materials such as carbon, stainless steel, Aluminum etc.
Job included but not limited to work at site, repairing of all type of valves, other mechanical job and welding jobs, helping others in workshop/site.
Work independently and uses proper judgment in analyzing and fabricating equipment.
Able to fabricate different jigs, fixtures, and templates
Use all kinds of hand tools such as Grinding, Radial Drill Machine, cutting, Gas cutting, & workshop machines like, Hack saw machine, Hydraulic press machine etc.
Ability to work with own hands and also supervise a team of minimum 15 people.
Ability to read, write and speak reasonable English
Ability to qualify for PERMIT TO WORK system of clients
To carry out site inspection if required for the inquiries received.
Prepare material estimation considering all aspects of resources by reading production drawings/samples, understand materials, tolerances etc.. And submit to the reporting manager.
In case of discrepancy in material received, inform the supervisor to get the discrepancy resolved.
Ensure that desired materials/services is delivered on time to meet the client's requirements.
Ensure proper approval at each stage of execution and decision making involving additional materials other than planned materials.
Put up efforts to save cost in each step of execution of work be it in utility, materials, consumables etc.
