Job Description

• Familiar with all the required standards of RMC procedures and operation guidelines.
• Interpret basic drawings, route sheets, specifications and instructions to determine methods and techniques to be applied.
• Set up and operate metal arc, shielded arc, or oxyacetylene equipment for welding, brazing, and flame cutting operations; set current, amperage, gas pressures and controls; select rod, wire, tips, electrodes for specific job at hand; fit, position, and secure with holding devices.
• Perform basic saw operations and painting as required.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• May measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Assist with detection of defective material, unusual conditions or operating difficulties and report to supervisor.
• Complete necessary documentation to ensure quality and production requirements
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Ascertain that all safety and precautionary measures are put into place before, during and after each project.
• Always work safely and follow all established safety policies, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Any other assignment decided by the Management. However, Management reserves the right to review and revise the job responsibilities if deemed necessary.

Requirements 12th Grade or High School Diploma, technical certification will be preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in ready-mixed and concrete. Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications Thorough knowledge of all aspects of concrete technology, equipment, methods, and safety. This is outside work in all types of environments, weather conditions, and all seasons. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
