About the job Fabricator (Jigs & Fixtures)
Our client is a global leader in the Industrial machinery manufacturing sector. HQ in America.
They serve two key markets, agriculture, and infrastructure, with seven different product divisions, including Utility, Lighting and Transportation, Telecom, Solar, Coatings, Irrigation, and Ag Tech.
They manufacture products in 85 facilities across six continents while running a business in 22 different countries.
\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfThey are in search of a Fabricator (Jigs and Fixtures) to join their team in Dubai. The Fabricator will be mainly responsible for the development of Jigs and Fixtures for our existing as well as new products. He has to assess the suitability of our existing Jigs and Fixtures for upgradation and develop new Jigs and Fixtures for the new product within the stipulated time. Must have welding and Tool Room background and knowledge of ASTM standards and material properties.

Responsibilities:
- Operates from a narrow scope of responsibility to ensure that requirements of Jigs, Fixtures and Tooling for our existing products are adequate and comply product and process requirements.
- Plan BOM, Material grade and machining operation for the Jigs and Fixtures for the new products.
- Has good measuring skill and can use measuring instruments like Micrometer, Vernier, Dial gauge , Height gauge , Angle Protector etc.
- Capable of monitoring the timeline of the assigned job and updates the supervisor accordingly.
- Ensure Safety Compliance and Quality of products.
- Capable of training and developing shop floor employees.
- Must have ability to interpret Drawing.
- Must have good knowledge of Reverse engineering
- Reports discrepancies in blueprints, specifications, methods, engineering data, standards, etc., to production SupervisorResp
- At least 5 years experience in steel fabrication industry.
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering/Fitter
- Knowledge in product management is essential.
- Good knowledge of Tooling material, welding and machining process are desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Must have basic knowledge in MS Office.
