Role Summary:-
The Technician Fabricator is a plant or shop floor position. They ensure safe and reliable products are delivered to the business in a cost effective and efficient manner without harm to people or the environment.
Essential Responsibilities:-
Fabricate PDC drill bits from start to finish, including fabrication, finishing, and inspection.
Read and interpret PDC bit drawings and schematics, making necessary adjustments as per specifications.
Utilize various manufacturing sub-processes such as CNC machining, welding, brazing, and grinding.
Comply with material build lists generated according to customer requirements.
Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to product specifications.
Operate pneumatic and electric hand tools proficiently.
Ability to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, routers, bills of materials, manufacturing procedures manual, basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, fractions). Ability to read and perform functions to the product specifications.
Work collaboratively with team members to solve technical problems.
Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment, i.e., calipers, micrometers, etc.
Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-
Years of experience: 5 Years
Field of experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with quality inspection processes
Technical Skills: Basic Knowledge
Soft Skills: Familiar with computer/Apps.
Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): SAP
Education Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): Mechanical

Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

- Willingness to work overtime as needed

Rotation / Work Schedule: 9 Hours/ Day 5 Days/ week
