to join our mechanical maintenance and fabrication team at a leading cement factory in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing steel structures, supports, ducts, and machinery components in line with engineering drawings and plant requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate
steel structures, ducts, platforms, supports, chutes, hoppers, and conveyors
as per engineering drawings.
Measure, mark, cut, drill, and assemble steel components using
cutting torches, grinders, shears, and bending tools
.
Read and interpret
blueprints, mechanical drawings, and fabrication sketches
accurately.
Perform fitting and tack welding prior to final welding.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of fabricated parts before installation.
Coordinate with welders, fitters, and riggers during installation and alignment of steel assemblies.
Inspect and maintain fabrication tools and machinery to ensure safe operation.
Follow company and site
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
regulations at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI / Diploma
in Fabrication, Mechanical, or related trade.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
as a Steel Fabricator in industrial or cement plant environments.
Proficiency in
layout, cutting, fitting, and assembly of steel materials
.
Familiarity with
welding processes
and material specifications (plates, channels, beams, angles, etc.).
Prior
GCC / UAE experience
preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of
fabrication and assembly techniques
.
Ability to read and execute complex mechanical/fabrication drawings.
Skilled in
cutting, grinding, and fitting
tools and machines.
Good teamwork, precision, and safety awareness.
