Job Description
Perform fabrication activities in line with the work instruction providing the best fit for welders.
Cutting and shaping plates and sheets using oxy fuels
Provide assistance for repair & fabrication of cradles, Gangways, dry berths & Shiplifts platform structure and rails.
Fabrication works for pipe lines, sewage & fresh water tankers and skip loader.
Skip bucket & waste dumping bins fabrication works.
Maintain housekeeping of work place at required standards.
Ensure appropriate use of hand tools, power tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns.
Report any malfunction of tools and machinery to immediate supervisor.
Take initiative to pursue self-development through on-job-training/education.
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
