Key Responsibilities:
Metal Fabrication & Assembly
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble metal components using manual and powered tools.
Fabricate parts from sheet metal, steel, aluminum, and other materials.
Welding & Finishing
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, or ARC, depending on the job requirements.
Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy of finished components.
Conduct grinding, polishing, or surface finishing when needed.
Machine Operation
Operate shearing, bending, punching, and cutting machines safely and effectively.
Maintain tools and equipment, reporting defects or safety concerns.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere strictly to
OSHAD
safety protocols and
Abu Dhabi Civil Defence
requirements.
Use proper PPE (gloves, helmet, welding shield, boots, etc.) at all times.
Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately.
Requirements:
Education:
Technical Diploma or ITI certification in Fabrication, Welding, or Mechanical Trade.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Fabricator in a
manufacturing, industrial, or construction workshop
.
Experience in structural steel, piping, ducting, or heavy fabrication is highly preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements.
Skilled in cutting, welding, and assembling metal parts with precision.
Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, gas cutting sets, and welding machines.
Preferred:
Experience working in
Abu Dhabi industrial zones (ICAD, KIZAD, Mussafah, etc.)
.
Certification in welding (e.g., 3G/6G) or approved by a third-party inspection agency.
Basic English or Arabic communication skills for workplace coordination.
