RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises fabrication yard erection activities (Skid setup, fit up, welding and Block erection).
Supervises fabrication yard installation operations.
Co-ordinates and interfaces between fabrication/installation and pre-fabrication activities.
Co-ordinates sub-contractors involved in the assembly stages.
Ensures compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
Searches for the most efficient technical solutions.
Provides quantitative data for producing the progress reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Have an Associate\'s or BS degree in a technical field or extensive Ship building experience.
Have a minimum 3-5 years construction, inspection and commissioning experience with New Build Vessels.
Have strong working knowledge of New Build Survey requirements, work sequence procedures for Vessels and ability to understand Structural & other Ship drawings.
Have working knowledge of codes & standards such as ASME, AWS, API, OSHA, and inspection procedures.
Have experience utilizing MS Project for project scheduling (preferred).
