Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities and allocate tasks to team members.
Interpret fabrication drawings and ensure correct execution of work.
Monitor welding and fabrication processes to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Coordinate with supervisors/engineers for work planning and progress updates.
Inspect completed jobs for quality, fit-up, and finish before submission.
Ensure adherence to safety rules and housekeeping standards in the work area.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior staff and helpers.
Assist in resolving technical issues on-site/workshop.
Maintain records of work progress, materials, and manpower utilization.
