The Fabric Supervisor is responsible for the quality, accuracy and efficiency of all material and fabric orders and processes, and supervising the fabric department staff. This position requires high organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, as the Fabric Supervisor is directly responsible for the performance and accuracy of the team and the success of the fabric division.
Responsibilities:
Inventory control: Manage the stock levels and inventory to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Supervision: Oversee, coach and motivate all fabric staff and provide performance reviews and guidance.
Order fulfillment: Place new orders and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment, while keeping a record of all orders for future reference.
Quality Assurance: Train staff on the proper quality control procedures for maintaining quality standards and ensure processes are adhered to.
Supplier Management: Manage vendor relations, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
Problem Solving: Resolve fabric production issues and address customer complaints regarding fabric products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in apparel and textiles with 5 years of fabric production experience.
Experience managing/supervising a team of employees.
In-depth knowledge of fabric manufacturing processes and production methods.
Detailed-oriented and highly-organized with a strong ability to multitask.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop positive customer relationships.
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
