Al Mamary Skylight is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Facade Project Engineer
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing facade engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring technical compliance, quality standards, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and facade details.
Coordinate facade system design, material selection, and structural analysis with consultants and suppliers.
Supervise the installation of facade systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Perform technical evaluations of subcontractor submittals including method statements, shop drawings, and calculations.
Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, identifying risks or issues and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements (e.g., Estidama, LEED).
Prepare reports, documentation, and records related to project status and quality control.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in facade engineering/project execution is a must.
Strong knowledge of facade systems (aluminum, glass, cladding, etc.) and installation techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, and MS Office.
UAE valid driving license is mandatory.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 3D or HiCAD is a plus.
