Key Responsibilities:

Efficient and smooth handling of Export shipments - preparation of HBL, MBL draft, manifest, billing, input costs, track & trace events, and pre-alert to customers and overseas agents.
Coordinating export shipment with local & overseas customers, shipping agents, sub-contractor, port agents, and transporters.
Prepare authorization letters to collect the Delivery Orders from carriers.
Obtain the shipping invoices from carriers/vendors and arrange payment requests to Finance to collect the delivery order/bill of ladings
Verify the shipping documents and arrange customs clearance.
Coordinate with the local transporter and monitor the delivery and collection of shipments.
Prepare to cost and billing sheet and keep supporting documents in a file
Update shipment details and events in the job tracker on time.
Ensure prompt and accurate declaration/information to carrier or consolidator.

Requirements Education/ Qualifications / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree
4-5 years of experience in Export operations in a Shipping or Freight Forwarding Company in UAE.
Knowledge of Dubai Port and Customs regulations for export shipments.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and time management
A positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
Good communication skills with good command of written and spoken English
