Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Generate, evaluate, analyze and execute engineering designs to satisfy product, project goals/requirements.
• Able to manage multiple projects in varying stages of process execution with knowledge, expertise, and motivation to succeed.

• Ability to construct individual part, component, and sub-assembly/assembly drawing/specification documentation to meet goals/requirements.
• Analysis of requirements & User needs & Understand functions and participate in creating Mechanical requirements list and tasks list.
• Define the mechanical design for high level systems based on the functional specification in cooperation with system engineers & hardware engineers.
• Generate different ideas and concepts for new solutions and make Optimization concept & concept selection.
• Participate in Schematics diagram & Block diagram for product system.
• Applying stack analysis for assemblies.
• Review 2D drawings for parts and assemblies.
• Review BOM creation on ERP system.
• Define mechanical hazards.
• Review all documentations such as assembly instruction & electric safety report and product design file.
• Perform Design FMEA and assist with Process FMEA where required.
• Consider design for assembly and design for manufacturability principles while designing new modules or selecting new components.
• Awareness with the required standard required for any type of product.
• Interface with suppliers during early phases to ensure proper understanding of project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanics Engineering with 10 + years with 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Good command (writing and speaking) English language.
• Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications).
• SolidWorks 3D modelling software.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing technologies, machining parts, including plastic injection molded and stamping, forming of sheet metal.
• Good knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
• Knowledge of pneumatics and fluid mechanics.
• Knowledge of design FMEA .
• Awareness with GD&T and stack-up analysis.
• Applying to stress analysis simulation.
• Awareness with IEC 60601-1.
• Awareness with basic knowledge of electronics.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
