Job Description
We are a leading aluminum and glass company located in the new industrial area of Umm Al Quwain, and we are seeking an experienced Aluminum & Glass Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in drafting and experience working with aluminum and glass products. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed shop drawings for aluminum and glass products
- Prepare material take-offs and order materials
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers
- Ensure that drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards
- Prepare technical submittals for approval by clients and consultants
- Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Attend project meetings as required
- Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting aluminum and glass products
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Familiarity with aluminum and glass fabrication techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
