Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand corporate and investment banking business across Abu Dhabi and the wider Middle East
• Lead and motivate a team of senior bankers, driving high performance and professional development
• Oversee complex financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and structured finance
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with major corporates, government entities, and high-net-worth clients
• Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with other business units
• Ensure strict compliance with UAE and international banking regulations and internal risk frameworks
• Represent the bank at senior-level industry events, forums, and client engagements
• Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to senior management and board-level stakeholders
• Monitor global financial markets and regional economic trends to guide business strategy
• Maintain strong governance, credit quality, and portfolio risk discipline

Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline
• MBA or CFA qualification preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate and investment banking
• Extensive senior leadership experience managing complex client portfolios
• Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue generation
• Strong knowledge of corporate and investment banking products and structured transactions
• Deep understanding of global financial markets and Middle East banking landscape
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills at C-suite level
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making abilities
• Thorough knowledge of UAE and regional regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Fluency in English
• Arabic language skills are highly desirable
