Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow corporate and investment banking operations in the UAE and Middle East
• Lead and motivate a team of senior bankers, ensuring high performance and career development
• Oversee mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, structured finance, and other complex financial transactions
• Build and sustain relationships with key clients including major corporates, government bodies, and high-profile individuals
• Collaborate across business units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue generation
• Ensure adherence to local and international regulations and internal risk policies
• Represent the bank at industry events, high-level forums, and strategic meetings
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the board on market developments
• Identify emerging sector trends and recommend business strategies
• Guide client relationship teams to deliver tailored solutions across banking and investment products
• Support long-term planning and alignment with the bank's corporate objectives

Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, with strong leadership background
• Proven success in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams
• Extensive knowledge of CIB products, structures, and market best practices
• Deep understanding of global markets, regional banking dynamics, and UAE economic environment
• Strong client relationship management skills with experience working with C-level executives
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capability
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of UAE and regional financial regulations
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
