Our client, a leading fund in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking to hire an Executive Director for their LatAm M&A division, based in South America (location to be confirmed). Our client specializes in identifying and executing high-value investment opportunities across a broad range of sectors including mining, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, industrials, automotive, energy, and fintech/payment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process including deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and integration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential targets, industry experts, financial advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential investment opportunities & trends within LatAm region
- Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, & due diligence to assess feasibility & potential returns of investment opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of transactions & integration of acquired entities
- Provide strategic insights & recommendations to senior management & clients based on market research & deal analysis
Requirements:
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a senior level; preference would be given to buy-side candidates
- Proven track record of successful M&A transactions across various sectors, covering as many of the above as possible
- In-depth knowledge of the LatAm market, with a strong network of industry contacts and high-level relationships
- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) required
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex transactions and cross-functional teams
