Job Description

To supervise loading, unloading, and all other inbound and outbound warehouse activities.

Warehouse Operations
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance to all statutory norms regarding warehouse operation
Coordinate the receiving, unloading and assembling of inbound stock
Ensure quality checks are undertaken
Ensure all pre-retailing activities like bar-coding, sorting, stacking, hangering, security tagging, etc and storage of goods and maintain safety measures to preserve goods
Ensure Sampling/First issue/Pull Outs/Store Replenishment/Picking activities
Manage Goods Return Process
Coordinate loading, dispatching and delivery of stock from warehouse to the stores
Ensure timely delivery of merchandise from the warehouse to the store
Maintain stock of inventory at the warehouse
Maintain accuracy of inbound/ outbound documentation (Delivery challan, GRN, Stock transfers, Purchase returns, Goods invoices
Maintain proper documentation with respect to imports & export shipments, stock registers
Forward Goods Transfer Memo to warehouse Systems dept.
Arrange for barcodes, packing lists for processing import shipments
Coordinate & allocate redistribution & pull out activities for warehouse storage stock
Coordinate stock take activities and maintain stock reports of goods in warehouses
Handle daily work allocation of warehouse operating personnel - team leaders, forklift operators & helpers
Generate Excess / Shortage /Damage reports for import shipments for warehouse operations
Control Warehouse Attendance Register
Proper adherence to all warehouse processes in WMS Retek environment
Health & Safety Regulations to be followed
Handle Housekeeping and Safety of the warehouse facilities, allocating responsibilities to the cleaners & ensure implementation
Arrange the merchandise for all statutory inspections like SASO, PAI (regulatory requirements of territories like Saudi Arabia , Kuwait)
Identify & implement warehouse process Improvements

At least 3-5 years of work experience in warehouse on a similar role
