Job description
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Using organisational knowledge of procedures and by building an understanding of what Korn Ferry does, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to our Global Account Leaders (GALs) and their accounts. Korn Ferry’s Global Account Leaders are responsible for driving and maintaining our Marquee and Regional accounts. These accounts form a key part of the firm’s strategic aims and as such are monitored closely and managed to a much greater degree than smaller firm accounts. The Executive Assistant will be providing not only key administrative support, such as scheduling and travel arrangements, but will play a key role in the administrative side of managing accounts. Primary account support responsibilities include:
  • Being a key point of contact for our client accounts. Able to proactively handle client queries and build external stakeholder relationships.
  • Building internal stakeholder relationships with internal client teams. Be seen as the “go to” person for client queries and co-ordination.
  • Maintaining and updating relevant client details on internal systems such as Salesforce and Searcher Express.
  • Working with the GAL ensuring all parts of the client team and wider business are aware of client progress and updates. This could be through emails, calls, newsletters etc.
  • Scheduling and joining marquee account team calls. Manage action items and drive the process of follow up and maintaining momentum.
  • Working with the GAL, work on pulling reports from relevant systems on client progress.
  • Be able to help design and present client ready presentations using PowerPoint and other formats as necessary.
  • Handle a high volume and variety of calls from clients, candidates, business development contacts and potential job-seekers.
General admin responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor GAL’s email and traffic.
  • Maintain GAL’s business calendar and co-ordinate travel and meeting schedules.
  • Maintain GAL’s contact directories (Salesforce, Searcher, Outlook, lists etc)
  • Work with other EAs in the business as necessary to organize ad-hoc events and BD mailings.
  • Prepare and submit regular and accurate expense reports and reconcile
  • Code and submit invoices, prepare check
  • Support other colleagues when possible and needed (i.e. providing coverage for other administrative assistants) providing timely answers to requests

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Candidates will ideally be either educated to degree level or have equivalent qualifications / or demonstrable work experience in the EA/administration field.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills with high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Experience of using a CRM system or databases advantageous.
  • Five years minimum of relevant experience of supporting leaders and senior professionals within a Professional Services
