Position Overview
The Executive - Accounts & Finance at Apparel Group is responsible for supporting financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining accurate financial reporting. This role covers general ledger management, taxation, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and cash flow oversight to strengthen the organization's fiscal performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Manage statutory filings such as GST, TDS, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support internal, statutory, and tax audits, addressing queries promptly
• Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense monitoring
• Oversee customer invoicing, collections, and credit control
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer balances
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and MIS reports
• Monitor cash flow, fund allocation, and banking transactions
• Coordinate with banks for loans, payments, and financial arrangements
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) for transactions and reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or CPA preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to supervisory or managerial responsibilities
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
