Executive Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Executive Accountant

to manage and oversee the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance, with the ability to provide strategic insights to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability. Conduct variance analysis and provide management with actionable recommendations. Oversee tax filings, VAT returns, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations. Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Support management in financial planning, investment evaluation, and cost optimization. Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred). Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in contracting, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and local compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Leadership qualities with proven ability to manage a finance team.
