About our client
Our client is an international investment platform with exposure across global public and private markets. The firm operates a combined Board and Investment Committee structure and is looking to appoint an experienced senior investor as an independent Board Advisor. This individual will provide strategic guidance and independent perspectives across asset allocation, investment strategy, and governance. What the job involves
This is a high-level advisory position focused primarily on investment strategy and portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.

• Provide strategic input on asset allocation and overall portfolio construction
• Contribute to investment strategy across both public and private markets
• Offer independent perspectives and challenge investment decisions where appropriate
• Support the Board and Investment Committee on key investment topics
• Provide guidance on governance structures, best practices, and risk management
• Attend approximately six in-person board meetings per year in Dubai

Who we are looking for

• Former CIO, Deputy CIO, or similarly senior investment professional who has worked in an investment platform with a long-term investment horizon such as a pension fund, sovereign wealth fund or endowment
• Multi-asset investment experience across both public and private markets is required
• Hands-on investment background, ideally having progressed from portfolio management into senior leadership
• Strong, independent mindset with the confidence to provide clear and constructive views at board level
• Based in or able to travel conveniently from Europe or nearby regions to Dubai for board meetings
