Excel Specialist

to join our team immediately.

To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:



Develop, manage, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to support operational, financial, and strategic planning processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and build automated Excel solutions tailored to specific business needs. Create advanced dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using formulas, pivot tables, charts, Power Query, and Power Pivot. Perform data analysis and modeling using advanced Excel functions (e.g., INDEX-MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, array formulas). Maintain the accuracy and integrity of large datasets and conduct regular audits to ensure data quality. Build and maintain templates for business processes and reporting, ensuring consistency and efficiency across departments. Provide Excel training, support, and troubleshooting assistance to internal staff at various skill levels. Continuously improve existing Excel tools and processes through optimization and automation (including VBA/macros when necessary). Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for reporting and integration with other systems as needed. Document all Excel solutions, including processes, formulas, and best practices, for internal use and knowledge sharing. Ensure compliance with internal data handling and security policies when working with sensitive or confidential information. Participate in meetings to gather requirements for new Excel tools and provide insights on improving business operations through Excel.

Qualifications:



A minimum of 2 years of experience working specifically in an Excel-focused role. Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, Power Query, Power Pivot, pivot tables, charts, and macros/VBA. Proven experience creating and maintaining complex, automated Excel models and dashboards. Knowledge of data analytics and ability to translate raw data into actionable insights. Experience integrating Excel with other systems or data sources is a strong advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional, proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Fluency in both English and Arabic (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Certification in Microsoft Excel or data analysis (such as MOS Excel Expert) is a plus.
