Operate excavators fitted with grapples, magnets, or buckets for loading, unloading, sorting, and stacking scrap metal.
Handle ferrous and non-ferrous scrap materials as per operational requirements.
Ensure safe operation in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Assist yard operations as required to meet production targets.
Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with ground staff.
